Julie Garton-Good, DREI, GRI
 
  As a syndicated columnist, author and international speaker, Julie Garton-Good has been called "America's Home Affordability Expert", addressing more than 25,000 persons annually on the topics of real estate finance and home affordability.

In 1994, she received the prestigious international "Real Estate Educator of the Year" award from the Real Estate Education Association. Julie also has received the award in 1985, making her the sole two-time recipient. She is a past President of the Real Estate Educators Association and was one of its first recipients of the (DREI) Distinguished Real Estate Instructor designation.

Her books include "Supercourse for Real Estate", published by Simon and Schuster, "A Professional's Guide to Real Estate Finance", "All About Mortgages: Insider Tips to Finance or Refinance Your Home", and "The Home Buying Game", published by Dearborn Financial. Her fifth book, "The Frugal HomeOwner's Guide to Buying, Selling, and Improving Your Home" was released in February.

Julie's syndicated real estate column appears weekly in such papers as the Miami Herald, reaching more than two million people weekly.

In 1997, The National Association of REALTORS® nominated Julie as one of the fifty most influential people in the real estate industry. She shared the list with only three other women. In 2000, she was named one of the 25 most influential people in real estate by The National Association of REALTORS®.

The DREI designation symbolizes significant accomplishment in the field of real estate education, with particular emphasis on outstanding classroom performance and communication in the art of teaching others.
